Inappropriate bathing suits for 12 year olds
Back in the 1980’s it was required at my secondary school for all the the girls to wear the white one-piece swimsuit that was supplied by the school. The material was very thin and tight so many of the girls had camel-toe and their nipples were usually poking out. But what became more of an issue was that as soon as the girls got into the pool their white one-piece swimsuits went transparent so that their bushes could be clearly seen as well as their tits and bottom.
For all the cover the swimsuit gave them, they might as well have been completely naked! The black school leotards the girls wore for gym were just as bad as it was a one-size fits all stretchy thing and as soon as the girls bent over the leotard instantly slid up their backside and became a thong, exposing their bare bottom, and as much as the girls might try, there was nothing they could do to stop it.
When choosing bathing suits for 12-year-olds, it’s important to consider modesty, comfort, and appropriateness for their age. Here are some guidelines for selecting suitable swimwear:

A swim nappy because it was removed from the kids and teens and their mother had put some baby wipes in it and it was in the bin to get to the tip and get covered in dirt but I had pulled them out of bin and put them in a bag so I could check them to make sure they were to go to the tip and get covered in dirt for good
- Coverage: Look for styles that provide adequate coverage, such as one-piece suits or tankinis.
- Avoid Sexualization: Steer clear of swimsuits with overly revealing designs, such as bikinis with minimal coverage or provocative patterns.
- Age-Appropriate Designs: Opt for fun, colorful patterns that are designed for younger kids and tweens rather than styles meant for adults.
- Comfort and Fit: Ensure the swimsuit fits well and allows for easy movement, especially for active swimming or play.
- Personal Preference: Ultimately, consider the child’s comfort and preferences; involve them in the decision-making process.
Choosing age-appropriate swimwear helps promote a positive body image and ensures kids feel comfortable and confident at the pool or beach.
My wife’was close in age to her aunt, Ronice, who was single. It was she who bought my daughter her first bikini. The bottom was white with a pattern of red strawberries over it, and came with a cute matching floppy beach hat. The top consisted simply of two silver dollar-sized emboideredred red strawberries connected by a white string, to be strategically placed. 🍓🍓
We had to admit it looked adorable, so she wore it while accompanying us to the mall. Needless to say, quite a few people took notice, with many approaching her, oohing and aahing and paying attention to her because of it. Ultimately, however, I decided it was inappropriate for her to wear outside, though I did allow the sun hat. I decided she, being so fair complected, shouldn’t have so much skin exposed to so many UV rays at 9 months old. 😊
To be honest, sun suit because quite frankly, it draws attention to them Especially if it’s the form fitting one, as someone who has worked with paedophiles, I found it that the more revealing or figure fitting swimming costumes children were actually has more of an appeal to these paedophiles. Because what people don’t want to face it paedophiles are essentially like men and women who were in normal relationships. The only differences they have a preference to prepubescent kids.
A topless teen walking with her mother on a family beach in Key West. They appeared to be French.
A couple with twin girls at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon who sounded like they were from Holland. The girls were nearing puberty and were topless.
I fully get that this may not be a big deal where these folks were from, but just like I am expected to follow other countries’ customs if I visit there, they should do the same here.
What is the most inappropriate swimwear you have seen on a kid or tween?
Back in my days as a lifeguard, I’ve seen pretty much everything that someone would consider inappropriate. I guess an answer most pertinent to this question happened at the private country club beach a little further up the coast. I was friends with the guards there, so it was common for me to stop bye for a chat during a beach run.
Every Summer, the kids would get out of school. Inevitably, there were the same groups of kids that would spend their free days at the club. And every year, there was always a girl or three who just had to show off her march to adulthood. They were usually very obvious flirts, and all the guards knew to keep their distance. No one wanted to risk a good paycheck… or jail time… They were privately referred to as jailbait or beach sluts.
Typically, they would have a new suit by the beginning of Summer. But by August, they were often fairly bleached out, stretched out, or just plain worn out to the point where they didn’t cover much.
For me, it’s probably the swimsuit my parents bought me when I was about 11–13. On a trip to visit my grandmother, my parents went out to do a bit of shopping while my brother and I spent some time with grandmother. When they returned, they showed me that they had bought me a Speedo-type swimsuit.
They insisted that I try it on, so I went to the bathroom to get changed into it. Now, I wasn’t particularly embarrassed that it was a Speedo instead of a boxer-type swimsuit, but I found that it was way too small. I couldn’t even get it on.
I returned to my parents and told them it was too small, but they didn’t want to believe me and insisted I go put it on and show them. I was forced to return to the bathroom, and after much struggling, managed to get it on without tearing it. Luckily, nothing hung out, but it was so tight that little was left to the imagination and my skin bunched up above the top of the suit and below the legs.
I then had to wear it like that, not only in front of my parents, but also my little brother and grandmother. I was completely mortified. But they did have to admit that I was right about it being too small. In the end, the swimsuit was given to a cousin of mine that was 4 years younger than myself, and it fit him to a tee.

Remember that swimming pool scene when Phoebe Cates was climbing up the ladder? What year was “Fast Times at Ridgemont High”? 1982? Well I was a preteen in the 1960’s and was on vacation with my folks, in Nassau I think it was.
I was at the hotel swimming pool and this beautiful girl, as I was standing there right in front of me got out of the pool, all wet, amazingly beautiful and well…… you can picture the moment. That was my real life Fast Times scene for me. Oh yeah! I’d like to think she knew what she was doing. It worked!
It was a t a family reunion when one of my teen aged nieces wore a yellow swimsuit – full cover – to sit by the pool. At one point she got in the water and then the folly of her decision became manifest. When wet it was virtually transparent, and she had no under clothing.
The odd thing for me was that her very conservative parents could not possibly have been oblivious to this, but they did and said nothing. I took their cue and pretty much ignored it.
Kids swimming fully clothed or with regular shorts and a T-shirt due to the extreme level of body shame and embarrassment their parents imposed on them. I was raised with nearly that same level of shame and embarrassment and I know how psychologically damaging it is. So it isn’t a matter that their clothes were inappropriate, but more that the prudish self-rejecting mentality imposed by the parents was inappropriate. Inappropriate bathing suits for 12 year olds.
Conclusion
Inappropriate bathing suits for 12 year olds: My daughter is 14 and she goes completely topless all summer in our home pool and hot tub, at the beach and even our local rec center. She says she has a right to be treated the same as her brothers and if they can take their shirts off, so can she. It’s not inappropriate though! Just gender equality…
I suppose the most inappropriate swimwear I wore at a public pool were a very brief pair of white trunks with the lining taken out making them see through. I didn’t care about people staring at me which I rather enjoyed at the age of fourteen.
As a nudist wearing nothing at all kids of all ages are equally undressed. What surprised me was 12 or 13 years old girls wearing string bikinis that basically frames their breasts and vulvas. There were a bunch wearing them so it seemed appropriate by popular vote. At a nudist beach or club completely nude is required for swimming pool for instance. Even a string bikini is too much fabric for nudist pools. It is inappropriate for swimming at nudist clubs.
I was charged with watching my daughter and her friend in the pool they were both 13 my daughters friend was wearing a white one piece bathing suit and when she got out of the pool it was completely see thru so much so that her nips and bush were very visible, I did the right thing and told her to go change!
